Some of my most loyal readers may remember one of my earliest posts, reviewing the miraculous beer, Hamm’s. Today, I bring you a similarly affordable but much more delicious alternative: Gazela Vinho Verde, one of my favorite white wines.
At $5.99-$6.99, this wine does not disappoint. While its price may remind one of our old flames Charles Shaw and Andre, this wine is leaps and bounds above good old Chuck. It’s slightly sparkling, which gives it an air of class rarely found for a mere six dollars. The taste is crisp and fresh with notes of pear and citrus. Best of all, this wine is parent-approved, which truly adds to the class level. In fact, the reason I had this wine for the first time was because it is one of my mom’s favorites.
Pick up a bottle of this gem next time you’re at the liquor store. You won’t be disappointed, and neither will your wallet.
